This book starts out with action and keeps it coming throughout the story. I've only read one other mafia series before and it was amazing so I was wondering if this one would live up. I have to say that it really holds it's own. In this story we follow Amelia a tough kick-ass heroine, who has been raised by the hardened, often cold-blooded cruel leader of this mafia family. She herself is an extremely talented hit-woman. She gets in and gets out with one less mark alive. But is she truly as hardened as her father? She had her heart shattered by a man named Zane, who she fell in love with, just to have him take off without any dirt of explanation. A twist of fate steps in and hands her a difficult, possibly life changing task. Her next hit? Zane. Will she? Can she? This book will keep you on the edge of your seat with the action, the twists and turns, and the need to know what is going to happen next. It's a hell of a ride. I can't wait to read the next in this series!
